Peter Pan's shadow was able to have a life of it's own before Wendy helped to reattach it by sewing it back on. Playing shadow puppets on the wall, with my son and a torch gives a reminder of the beauty in simple things.
The way that light casts a hard shadow in the city, either from a person or an object is always fascinating. Initially the shadows in my shots were just an incidental part of capturing the main subject of the photograph. The more I shot however - especially at the end of the day - the more that it was the shadows themselves that became the main focus of some images. Peter Pan is an ongoing project.
